Paramount Skydance Extends WBD Debt Offers a Third Time as No Note Series Hits 50% Consent Threshold
Paramount Skydance has pushed its cash tender and debt exchange offer deadlines to July 22, 2026, the third such extension since the offers launched in May, as the company awaits regulatory clearance to close its $110 billion-plus acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. As of July 10, aggregate participation stood at 28.28% for the cash tender and 47.09% for the exchange offers, but no individual note series has yet crossed the 50% majority consent threshold required to amend the relevant indentures. The company has stated it will continue extending the offers until settlement can coincide with the merger closing date, with a contractual outside date of March 4, 2027.
