Netflix has committed, through company insiders cited by Variety and Deadline, to publicly report box-office grosses for six named films releasing between October 2026 and November 2027. The move is selective rather than a formal company-wide policy: three of the six films have theatrical windows below the 45-day industry benchmark, while no source confirms Netflix will submit figures to Comscore or another standard reporting system. The change improves Netflix's standing with exhibitors and talent but stops well short of the uniform transparency practices used by major studios.
