Nielsen Cuts Streaming Ratings Delivery Time by Up to 80 Percent With Daily Feed
Nielsen has shifted its Streaming Content Ratings from a weekly to a daily delivery cadence, with clients now receiving data each business day for viewing that occurred two days prior. The company also plans to accelerate its weekly Streaming Top 10 reports by two weeks, with the first faster report expected September 17, 2026, covering the August 31 through September 6 measurement period. Nielsen's announcement does not specify whether the daily feed is available to all clients or requires a separate licensing upgrade, and no downstream effects on advertiser negotiations or buying decisions have been established.
