Ingenia Rejects Warburg Pincus A$5.05 Bid for Second Time as Peet Deal Proceeds
Ingenia Communities Group has now rejected two non-binding acquisition proposals from Warburg Pincus, the latest at A$5.05 per stapled security, with the board stating both offers substantially undervalue the company. Warburg has said it intends to continue pursuing a buyout, while Ingenia's share price sat at A$4.170 on the day of rejection, roughly A$0.88 below the offer price. Ingenia is simultaneously advancing a binding scheme to acquire Peet Limited, with implementation projected for late December 2026, a transaction Warburg has conditioned its offer on Ingenia abandoning.
