S&P 500 Adds Bloom Energy, Illumina, and Everpure Effective September 21
S&P Dow Jones Indices announced on September 4, 2026, that Bloom Energy, Illumina, and Everpure will join the S&P 500 before the open of trading on September 21, replacing Molson Coors, The Trade Desk, and Builders FirstSource, which move to the S&P SmallCap 600. The same rebalancing reshapes the S&P 100, S&P MidCap 400, and S&P SmallCap 600 across more than 20 additional additions and deletions.
