Paramount Skydance Extends WBD Debt Offers an 11th Time Amid Antitrust Delay
Paramount Skydance has extended its tender and exchange offers on roughly $14.5 billion in Warner Bros. Discovery debt to September 18, 2026, marking the 11th such extension since June as the underlying acquisition remains blocked by antitrust litigation from 12 state attorneys general. Settlement cannot occur until the merger closes, which Paramount now expects could slip to as late as June 2027. Separately, a court hearing is scheduled for September 24 on Paramount's request that the states post a $1.88 billion bond to cover merger-delay costs.
